Maar daar wilt Natuurhistorisch Museum Naturalis in Leiden het niet bij laten: nu is het moment om met de contacten die gemaakt zijn, de botten die gevonden zijn en de expertise die is opgedaan, door te pakken. Daarom is Naturalis doorgegaan, en zijn we al bezig met het opgraven, prepareren en onderzoeken van de eeuwige opponent van <em>T. rex<\/em>: de gehoornde dinosaurus <em>Triceratops<\/em>. Een team van Nederlandse paleontologen werkt elke dag, zeven dagen per week aan de fossielen die in het oosten van de Amerikaanse staat Wyoming zijn opgegraven.
