Op\u00a0zaterdag 30 november 2019\u00a0organiseert de Paleobiologische Kring van het KNGMG in samenwerking met het Natuurhistorisch Museum Maastricht en de Universiteit Maastricht het internationale symposium <\/strong>\u2018Chalk & Flint\u2019<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tussen 10.00 en 17.00 uur wordt er in het Nieuwenhof (adres:\u00a0Zwingelput 4, Maastricht<\/a>) een divers programma aangeboden met Engelstalige, populair-wetenschappelijke lezingen over krijt en vuursteen. Tijdens het symposium zal de geologie, paleontologie en paleobiologie van de Europese krijtafzettingen aan bod komen, van sedimentologie tot stratigrafie, van de zeebodem tot vuursteen werktuigen, van nannofossielen tot mosasauriers.<\/p>\n

Aanmelden<\/strong><\/p>\n

Registratie is gesloten! Mocht u toch nog graag naar het symposium komen en heeft u zich nog niet ingeschreven? Stuur dan een mail naar pbkring@gmail.com. Wij zullen dan zien wat wij nog kunnen regelen. De kosten bedragen 12,50 euro voor studenten en leden van de Paleobiologische Kring en 17,50 euro voor niet-leden. Hiervoor ontvangt u koffie\/thee, een lunchpakket, een borrel na afloop en bovenal een dag vol interessante verhalen over krijt en vuursteen! Om aan dit symposium deel te nemen is aanmelding verplicht.<\/p>\n
