On Saturday November 30th of 2019, the Paleobiologische Kring of the KNGMG organises an international symposium \u2018Chalk & Flint\u2019<\/em>, in collaboration with the Natural History Museum Maastricht (NL) and the University of Maastricht.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, there will be a diverse program of (English) popular-scientific lectures by renowned scientists. The address of this venue is\u00a0Zwingelput 4, Maastricht<\/a>\u00a0in the Netherlands. During this symposium, the geology, paleontology and paleobiology of the European chalk deposits will be discussed, from sedimentology to stratigraphy, from nannofossils to mosasaurs.<\/p>\n

Registration costs are 12,50 euro for students and members of the Paleobiologische Kring, and 17,50 euro for non-members. Included in this price is coffee\/tea, a lunch, a drink and, above all, a full day of interesting lectures!<\/p>\n
