After three symposium-barren years the Paleobiological Circle of the KNGMG proudly presents, in cooperation with the Oertijdmuseum Boxtel, the upcoming international symposium: Jurassic Giants!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This English-spoken symposium will be held on Saturday the 26th of November\u00a0 2022 (10h00-18h00) at the Oertijdmuseum (address: Bosscheweg 80, Boxtel, the Netherlands). Together with international experts we shall take a dive into the anatomy, biology and the habitats of Sauropod (long neck) dinosaurs from the famed Late Jurassic Morrison formation from the United States.<\/p>\n

The speakers for the symposium are confirmed, leading to a completed preliminary program! Although some minor changes towards the presentations may still arise, it should at the very least give a generic idea of the content and about the speakers of the symposium. Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members of the Paleobiological Circle that have registered before the 1st of August 2022 are able to visit the symposium for only \u20ac15,- per person. For non-members and registered members after the 1st of August 2022 the costs will be \u20ac30,- per person. Although the latter will include the opportunity to become a member for the remainder of 2022 for free. Students whom are not a member of the Paleobiological Circle will be eligible for a \u20ac5,- student discount, resulting in a total of \u20ac25,- per student.<\/p>\n

The symposium will consist of day of diverse lectures from international speakers, a guided tour through the renewed Oertijdmuseum and a visit towards the skeleton of the new Diplodocus Kirby. With the symposium is also included: coffee\/tea, lunch and a drink afterwards. In order to attend the symposium, registration is mandatory.<\/p>\n
