On Saturday November 30th of 2019, the Paleobiologische Kring of the KNGMG organises an international symposium ‘Chalk & Flint’, in collaboration with the Natural History Museum Maastricht (NL) and the University of Maastricht.
Between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm, there will be a diverse program of (English) popular-scientific lectures by renowned scientists. The address of this venue is Zwingelput 4, Maastricht in the Netherlands. During this symposium, the geology, paleontology and paleobiology of the European chalk deposits will be discussed, from sedimentology to stratigraphy, from nannofossils to mosasaurs.
